Coval Vinyl Floor Coat is a high performance protective coating for all kinds of vinyl flooring products. It improves durability and molecularly bonds to the surface, creating a stain and corrosion resistant membrane. It reduces the need for waxing and cleaning, and prolongs usability.
Test: As with all Coval products, it is recommended to test for compatibility in a small area before full application.
Caution: A professional spray mask should be used with this product, as well as eye protection, rubber gloves, and coveralls.
New vinyl floors should have 3 or 4 coats of wax burnished into them before applying Coval Vinyl Floor Coat, this will reduce absorption.
Important: Floors should be clean and clear of stains or marks before application; if not removed they will become permanent.
Make sure to completely stir before and during use, to fully suspend nanoparticles. Coval Vinyl Floor Coat is best applied with a pump (deck) sprayer, which must be chemical and acetone resistant. Mask off all areas not to be coated. Apply a thin, even coat without puddling, Allow to dry. Clean up equipment immediately with acetone. If a second coat is for some reason required, wait 24 hrs, give a light sanding with 220 grit, and re-coat.
