Coval Wood Coat

Coval Wood Coat is a high performance nano/covalent coating for painted or sealed wood surfaces offering improved protection from stains, acids, UV, and abrasion. This is a two part catalyzed product. Coval Wood Coat can be sprayed, rolled, or brushed on, and requires only one coat. Like all Coval products, Coval Wood Coat helps protect surfaces from graffiti, which may more easily be removed after this application.

Surfaces must clean and free of contaminates. Remove all oil, dust, grease, dirt, and other foreign material using Coval Step#1 Cleaner for Painted surfaces. Mask off areas not to be covered. In a clean container, mix equal parts of Coval Wood Coat and Coval Part B, Catalyst. This product is best applied with a HVLP (high-volumelow- pressure) spray system, with a 1.0-1.3 size tip and the pressure set at approximately 25 to 30 psi. Wood Coat may also be applied with an airless sprayer, brush, or high density ultra smooth roller. All equipment must be chemical and acetone resistant. Apply Coval Wood Coat at 4-5 mils WFT. Apply one coat. Clean up immediately with acetone.

Test: As with all Coval products, it is recommended to test for compatibility in a small area before full application.

Caution: A professional spray mask should be used with this product, as well as eye protection, rubber gloves, and coveralls.
